It seems that Diddy is no longer associated with Capital Preparatory Charter Schools.

In light of the persistent accusations of violence against him, Diddy is updating his résumé. The hip-hop mogul resigned as chairman of the company, REVOLT revealed on Tuesday, Nov. 28. Capital Preparatory Schools also declared it was terminating its collaboration with Diddy a few hours later. REVOLT provided an explanation for Diddy's decision to step down in an Instagram statement. Diddy is Sean Combs by birth.

The decision, according to REVOLT, is about the brand overall rather than just one person.

Regarding Diddy's recent media storms—which have included at least three lawsuits alleging sexual assault against him—REVOLT made no mention of them in its statement.

A week or so prior to Thanksgiving, he received the first from Cassie, a performer signed to Bad Boy Records and his ex-girlfriend. She filed a comprehensive 35-page lawsuit alleging sexual assault, persistent verbal and physical abuse, and cross-state sex trafficking.

Under the Adult Survivors Act of New York, the singer was able to file under the statute of limitations free of charge for a year. The filing time for the act commenced last year, and it expired on November 23. Less than 48 hours after Cassie filed, she and Diddy reached a settlement for an undisclosed sum. Diddy subsequently made it clear that the settlement did not represent his admission of guilt or weakness.

But a lawsuit claiming similar assault allegations was filed by another woman less than a week later. Just before the Adult Survivors' Act of New York expired, Joi Dickerson-Neal, like Cassie, filed. Joi claimed that after a 1991 date at the Wells restaurant in Harlem, Diddy had beaten her, according to the NY Daily News. She alleges the producer sexually attacked her in a recording studio after giving her medication that rendered her incapable of standing or walking on her own.

The third action brought under the legislation against Diddy followed. Rolling Stone reported that in 1990 or 1991, an unidentified woman accused singer and producer Aaron Hall of raping her and a friend at Hall's apartment in shifts.

A few days later, he allegedly went to the woman's residence and choked her “until she passed out.” According to reports, Diddy was concerned that his ex-girlfriend would find out.

Once more, he refuted the accusations through a spokesman.

On his social media accounts, Diddy has not responded to REVOLT's declaration. A second organization, Capital Preparatory Schools, disclosed the status of its collaboration with Combs on its website following the viral success of REVOLT's announcement.
