The widow of Robbie Malinga will not surrender easily! Ann Malinga allegedly argued with her late husband's record label boss about royalties and called him out for being dishonest. According to Mrs. Malinga, the royalties from Robbie's hits must be taken into consideration.

According to reports, Ann Malinga is negotiating with Thembinkosi "TK" Nciza of TS Records and Universal Music to recover money that should rightfully belong to her husband. According to Nciza's spokesperson, Mrs. Malinga has already received an advance and is not owed any money.

ZiMoja claims that Ann got in touch with Nciza to inquire about royalties related to Zahara's albums, Loliwe, Country Girl, and Phendula, all of which were produced by Malinga.

In response, the widow received a written statement from Nciza's attorney, Dumisani Motsamai, detailing Robbie's royalties for November and December 2021 and stating that the outstanding balance owed was R3 247.13.

Mrs. Malinga further claims that TS Records defrauded her husband of the royalties from the hit song Yonke Le Ndawo from the 2015 Orlando Pirates soundtrack, Up The Bucs (Amabhakabhaka).

Ann Malinga, who also owns Blaque Petals flower shop, wrote a book detailing her late husband's extraordinary life in an effort to preserve his memory. On the eve of his 53rd birthday in 2021, Ann released Robbie Malinga: The Legend, a book that tells the story of the Sobabili hitmaker's family and friends while highlighting his accomplishments, struggles, and hidden secrets.
