In an elegant move, Tina Knowles is entering the online conversation to warn people not to mess with her daughter Beyoncé.
On Saturday, November 25, the singer of "Crazy in Love" went out to attend the premiere of her movie, Renaissance. According to TODAY, the event took place at Los Angeles, California's Samuel Goldwyn Theater.
Notably, the official website of the film states that it aims to “accentuate the journey” of the singer’s Renaissance Tour. The movie also follows the tour from its "inception" to the end, capturing every detail from Beyoncé's "creative mind and purpose to create her legacy" to the construction of the show.
Arriving before Queen Bey at the launch on Saturday night was a star-studded guest list. Kelly Rowland, Chloe Bailey, Tia Mowry, and other celebrities were on the list.
But as many had predicted, Queen Bey's appearance stole the show. Wearing a silver Versace gown, the 42-year-old singer's arms were mostly covered by matching latex gloves. The singer also had platinum blonde hair and wore silver earrings that drooped.
Many expressed distaste for the singer's appearance in the comment section of The Shade Room on social media, calling her a "white woman" or "looking like a Kardashian."
When Beyoncé was accused of "whitening" or lightening her skin in a video, Tina Knowles particularly addressed the criticism of her daughter on Instagram earlier this week.
The mother of Beyoncé notes that her daughter "wore silver hair to match her silver dress as a fashion statement," referencing the silver theme of the film's premiere and the entire "Renaissance" tour. According to Tina, those who accuse Beyoncé of attempting to seem white are merely liars, losers, bozos, and envious small people who are merely jealous.
