Sive was raised in East London, although she was born in Cape Town. She performed in plays at church and school, which ignited her enthusiasm for performing.
In order to pursue acting full-time, she moved to Johannesburg. English, Xhosa, and Zulu are the three (3) languages she speak.
Her first major break came in February 2015, when she placed among the five (5) winners of the amateur acting competition MAQamovie. A brand of washing powder sponsored the competition.
This accomplishment made it possible to be featured in Darrell Roodt's Skorokoro film.
Additionally, she made a brief appearance in the supernatural drama series Igazi, which is produced by Ferguson Films and stars Shona Ferguson.
She starred in an M-Net original film in 2015 called The Ring, which was made by the network's 2015 Magic in Motion Academy interns.
Sive secured a starring role in a feature-length film titled The Lucky Specials in 2016.
She was cast in the recurring role of Faith in the dark comedy-drama series Sober Companion on SABC3. This was in July of 2016.
The actress from South Africa is thought to be worth approximately R2 million. That's the amount of money she made acting.
