Born on February 9, 1999, Lerato Nxumalo grew up in KwaMashu, Durban, South Africa, in the KwaZulu Natal Province. Raised by her stepmother, Lerato has eight siblings – seven girls and one boy.


Education


Lerato attended Northland Girls High in Durban before pursuing film and television studies at Witswaterstand University in Johannesburg. Initially aspiring to be an accountant, she discovered her passion for acting in eighth grade, leading her to a career in theatrical arts.
