When Ayanda Thabethe decided to study Marketing and Communication Management, she couldn’t have anticipated that the brand she'd become most known for would be her own. Since entering the corporate world, the Durban-born talent has expanded her portfolio to include roles as a model, actress, TV host, entrepreneur, and brand ambassador. To help her mother provide for the family, Ayanda contributed by selling cold drinks and helping with dressmaking. Despite these challenges, Thabethe and her sisters received quality education. Ayanda attended Sacred Heart Girls’ High School and later graduated with a Bachelor of Commerce in Communication Management from the University of Pretoria in 2007. In 2011, she earned her Honours in Marketing from the University of South Africa.
